Reading for pleasure has been shown to significantly enhance a child's development more than any other activity. At ABC, we give children access to books and libraries by collecting and donating great quality pre-loved books and creating beautiful inspiring reading spaces in primary schools.

Our Mission
ABC Book Club is a charity that takes donations of high quality pre-loved children's books from members of the general public and re-donates them to primary schools. We also create brand new reading for pleasure spaces in schools so that children have somewhere exciting and comfortable they can read.

How can you get involved
Book donations are the lifeblood of the ABC Book Club - we could not do without them. If you have any excellent quality, preloved books suitable for children aged 5-11 that your children have outgrown please donate them to us.
If you don't have any books, there are other ways you can help. We appreciate every effort you make to support us.
You can donate pre-loved children's books suitable for ages 5-11 at any of our 50+ drop off locations throughout South East London and North Kent.
